Big Bambù is a temporary art piece by Mike and Doug Starn, sponsored by the international award Enel Contemporanea and built in the premises of the MACRO Testaccio Museum in Rome. It’s a 30 meters high tower, made by bamboo only and accessible to visitors up to 20 meters, through a double internal stairs leading to some observation decks. Although very simple, the Big Bambù transforms and gives a new meaning to the space it becomes part of, and fascinates visitors, as kids climbing a giant treehouse.
