Roman pastoral

After having photographed the “urban farmers”, I have decided to explore again the small bits of countryside spread around the city of Rome.

Here, plots of land are cultivated as real gardens, renegotiating the border between the city and the countryside around it. Pieces of land that used to be abandoned are now spaces shared by the citizens: lands to be cultivated and cared for.
